Our physiotherapists treat patients with a range of sports injuries sustained at all levels of sport, from the weekend warrior to the elite athlete. Our team have prior experience in a range of settings including working with national rugby teams and county cricket clubs. We treat and rehabilitate all sporting injuries enabling the individual to return to their chosen sport at the correct level of fitness.
We are able to identify any musculoskeletal weakness and design and/or liase with coaches to help implement an appropriate training programme to help prevent any future recurrence of any injury. We have a well-equipped gymnasium and a large outdoor facility including an agility course, designed for sport specific rehabilitation.
Gait Scan.
The gait scan is a piece of equipment, which combines your physiotherapists clinical skills and expertise with this advanced technology.
The Gait Scan pressure plate system generates quantifiable static and dynamic measurements, providing you and your therapist with comprehensive data regarding the pressure distribution through your feet when standing, and your timing sequences during walking or running.
This provides a clear picture of your foot mechanics and detects abnormal foot function which may be affecting your feet or other parts of your body. This information will then be used by your physiotherapists as part of your assessment and assist in deciding your treatment plan.
